Changing a users email address within Office 365

When a user is first authorized through either Individual Connect or Enterprise Connect, Cronofy uses the User Principal Name as the email address source for the Cronofy account and calendar profile for the connecting user.

However if the user’s email address later needs to be updated for example, due to a name change or domain change but the User Principal Name is not updated with the new email address, then the user’s email address in Cronofy will not reflect this change and will still display the old email address set as the User Principal Name.

To resolve this the User Principal Name must also be updated to ensure Cronofy reflects the new email address.

Once the User Principal Name has been updated for the user, they will need to have their Calendar reauthorised for the changes to take effect.
