# Shared calendars

The process of connecting a shared calendar will depend on whether you're connecting the calendar [individually](/calendar-users/index.md) or [via an organization](/calendar-admins/index.md).

### Individual Connect
With [Individual Connect](/calendar-users/office-365-outlook/index.md), our model is based on a user being the owner of the calendar they're authorising. So, while shared calendars may still connect, we do not directly test and support this feature, and cannot gurantee a working sync. Because of this, we suggest that users connect only individual accounts via this method.

### Enterprise Connect
With [Enterprise Connect](/calendar-admins/enterprise-connect-guide/index.md), our model is based on an organization granting authorization access over all their users' calendars. Shared mailboxes can be connected from Enterprise Connect Office 365 via [Exchange (EWS)](/calendar-admins/enterprise-connect-office365-exchange/index.md) and [Graph API](/calendar-admins/enterprise-connect-office365-graph/index.md) in a similar manner to other resources as per our [Office 365 Shared Folders guide](/developers/authorization/enterprise-connect/shared-folder-office365/index.md) after configuring the Service account.
