# Connect your calendars

The Scheduler reads your calendar to work out when you're free, and adds booked events to it. The calendar you signed up with is connected for you.

For the calendar services you can connect, and how to connect each one, see [connecting your calendars](https://docs.cronofy.com/connect/calendar-users/index.md).

## Add more calendars
If you have more than one calendar, such as a work calendar and a personal one, connect them all. Cronofy then checks each calendar you include, and doesn't offer times that clash with any of them.

- Connect the calendar service to your Cronofy account.

- Include its calendars in your [availability](https://docs.cronofy.com/schedule/get-started/preferences/index.md).

Every calendar you include can reduce the times you're offered.

## Choose a target calendar
However many calendars you connect, booked events are only added to one: your [target calendar](https://docs.cronofy.com/schedule/get-started/preferences/index.md). You can change it in your preferences at any time.

## What counts as busy
Events marked as busy or tentative in any included calendar block that time. See [which times are offered](https://docs.cronofy.com/schedule/scheduling-and-booking/available-times/index.md).
