# Booking limits

Booking limits, also called constraints, cap how many events of a given type a person can be booked for. For example, you could limit interviewers to one interview a day, or onboarding specialists to three training sessions a week. Nobody is booked beyond the limit, so work is spread evenly and no one is overbooked.

## Set up a booking limit
- Choose a [tag](https://docs.cronofy.com/schedule/calendar-and-events/tags/index.md) that describes the type of event, such as `Interview`, and add it to the scheduling requests or templates the limit should apply to. The limit applies wherever that tag is used, including requests made from public links.

- Email [support@cronofy.com](mailto:support@cronofy.com) with the tag and the limit you want, and we'll set it up for you.
