Sequence Rules

Purpose #

Cronofy lets you schedule a series of events happening back-to-back. This means, you can share only one scheduling link to book a candidate for a series of interviews for example!

Creating a Sequence Rule #

Sequence Rules will use Group Rules as events to schedule.

To create a Sequence Rule, please head to your Organizational Unit Settings, select the “Scheduling” tab and click on “Group Rules”. Scroll down to the Sequence rules and click on “Create New Sequence Rule”, as shown below:

  • If your events need to be scheduled in a respective order, you would need to add each event as a Step.

In the example below, we need to schedule a panel interview with the “Engineering interview” happening before the “Coding Interview”. Therefore, the events were created as separate steps.

  • If your events can happen in any order, you can add each event under the same Step.

In the example below, the “Engineering interview” or “Coding Interview” can happen in any order.

Using a Sequence Rule #

To use a new Sequence Rule, please navigate to your Organizational Unit Settings, select the “Scheduling” tab and click on “Group Rules”. Scroll down to the Sequence rules to click on “Create Scheduling Request”.
